Decoration Methods

Koozie Group offers your customers a wide variety of imprint options designed to maximize their brand’s message and impact.
Debossing Decoration Method

Debossing

The combination of pressure and heat leaves the imprint depressed into the product surface.

Deep Etch Decoration Method

Deep Etch

Sandblasting an imprint to create a more visible, textured etching into a glass or crystal award.

Deep Etch Decoration Method

Deep Etch with Colorfill

Used on crystal or glass, an imprint is sandblasted, creating a textured etching that is then filled with color.

BritePix Decoration Method

Die-Cast Medallion

Casting an imprint into a brass (gold) or zinc (silver) metal medallion and then mounting them into the surface of the product. The method results in a raised imprint.

Dye Sublimation Decoration Method

Dye Sublimation

This is a multi-layered process where an imprint is printed onto transfer paper using special dyes and then transferred onto a product surface using a combination of heat and pressure. The special dyes allow for improved bonding to the product fibers, leaving a long-lasting imprint. Dye sublimation is a popular choice for mousepads.

Embroidery Decoration Method

Embroidery

Products are placed in a vice called a hoop to keep the fabric tight while the embroidery machine stitches. In cases where the fabric has high pile fibers, knock-down stitches are needed before the final design is stitched. Knock-down stitches are additional stitches to keep high pile fibers from interfering with the visual aesthetics of the final embroidered design.

Embroidered Emblem Method

Embroidered Emblem

A large piece of fabric is securely framed to a 20-head embroidery machine. The digitizing file of the emblem is loaded to start stitching. When the stitching is complete, the whole span of fabric goes through a lamination machine that applies adhesive film to the back. Each embroidered logo is then either laser-cut or manually heat-cut to shape before being transferred onto an individual release paper.

Enhanced Embroidered Emblem Method

Enhanced Embroidered Emblem

A large piece of fabric is securely framed to a 20-head embroidery machine. The digitizing file of the emblem is loaded to start stitching. When the stitching is complete, the whole span of fabric goes through a lamination machine that applies adhesive film to the back. Each stitched logo is then either laser-cut or manually heat-cut to shape before being sublimated to achieve the final look of the design. (The ink is transferred from the sublimation paper to the surface of the stitched logo during the heat transfer process.) Finally, each emblem is transferred onto an individual release paper.

Foil Stamping Decoration Method

Foil Stamp

Using a metal die, colored foil and a heat/pressure machine, the imprint is pressed into the surface and the foil remains adhered to the imprint.

Digital 4CP Vinyl Decoration Method

Full Color

This is the ideal imprint method for half tones, photographs, or complex artwork. The term Full Color now encompasses our previous britePix®, PrismMax™, and digital 4-color decorating methods to offer vibrant, photographic-quality, full-color imprints simplified under one name. Full-Color techniques vary from a direct digital imprint to a combination of 4-color process with laminating or heat transfer paper onto the product. Customization with variable data is available for select products. PMS matches cannot be done with Full-Color imprint method.

Heat Transfer Decoration Method

Heat Transfer

Multi-layer imprints can be created by screening art onto transfer paper, cutting it to size, and then applying the imprint using a combination of heat and pressure.

Image 3 Decoration Method

Image 3

A unique way to showcase a logo or symbol. 3D images are created by a specialized laser inside optical crystal blocks.

Laser Engraving Decoration Method

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is a digital fabrication process that uses a laser beam to create permanent marks or designs on a material’s surface. The laser beam removes material by vaporizing it, creating a recess or groove that forms the desired pattern. This method is known for its precision, allowing for intricate designs and high-definition markings. Laser engraving can be used on a wide variety of materials, including metals, wood, plastics, and more. Due to variations in thermal properties, absorption rates, and reactivity, the same laser engraving process will produce different visual results on various types of materials.

Offset Printing Decoration Method

Offset

A process in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then onto the paper surface. Nonstandard imprint colors available.

Pad Print Decoration Method

Pad Print

Having won several awards for pad printing on golf balls, image complexity is not an issue. Your logo is recessed into a plate; then, a pad is dipped into the plate and pressed onto the product to transfer the ink. Nonstandard imprint color match is available.

Screen Print Decoration Method

Screen Print

The process of forcing specialized ink through a stenciled, fine-mesh screen. A screen is required for each color of the imprint. Nonstandard imprint color match is available. For IMAGEN Brands, this method was known as Screen.

Spot Color

Spot Color

Spot color is a digital decoration method using CMYK. Although exact color matching and true metallics are not available, we will match as closely as possible at no additional charge.
