Screen Print

Ink is applied through a fine screen, leaving a color imprint on the surface of the product.

Heat Transfer

Logos are applied to products through the use of a paper-like transfer material with heat and pressure. This process is also used on material where it is not suitable to imprint more than 1 screen imprint color. Color matches will be matched to coated colors.

Deboss

Debossing imparts a more subtle effect than screen printing. This method allows you to leave a depression of your logo on the material’s surface. This process is best utilized on vinyl and leatherette.

Full-Color Imprints

We reproduce your full-color design or logo by using your computer-generated art or by scanning a flat full-color image (extra fees may apply).

Full-Color Quick Tips

• The 4-color process ink used is transparent. In order for full-color imprints to be vibrant in color, a white backer (“flash”) is needed.
• Gradients are available, but the soft edges cannot touch the substrate.
• Colored lines/areas must be a minimum of 3-point (0.04166") thickness. White lines must be a minimum of 1-point (0.0139") thickness.
• Trade and registration marks (™ and ®) also must often have a backer (“flash”) applied.
• Artwork must be submitted electronically. Do not send 4-color separated art. Exact color match cannot be guaranteed on 4-color process. Please submit high-resolution artwork to size. All type must be converted to a non-editable format (or “outlines”).
• We reserve the right to determine acceptability of submitted art.
• Additional art and/or alternate charges may apply.

Multiple Location Imprints

Multiple location imprints vary by item, please check product info. Extra charge may apply.

Standard Panel Imprint (Umbrellas)
The standard panel imprint provides a measurement that correctly fits each imprint location on each umbrella. The measurement provides a bottom width, top width, and then height width. Example: 12W bottom x 10W top x 6.5H. Some vented umbrellas may also have a measurement for printing on the upper canopy. Sizing is specific to each umbrella.

Imprint Locations (Umbrellas)

• Panel Imprint is opposite the tie strap on every umbrella with the exception of the following: 2285 and 2286, which have the standard location as two panels to the right of the Shed Rain™ logo tag on the canopy of the umbrella. The second location or opposite panel would be two panels to the left of the Shed Rain™ logo tag.
• Case/Sleeve Imprint is available on specific umbrella styles and is located on the umbrella case/sleeve that accompanies an umbrella. Sizing is specific to each umbrella. Please note that not all umbrellas come with a sleeve.
• Tie Strap imprint is available on certain umbrellas. Sizing is specific to each umbrella.

Embroidery
A design is stitched with thread on the surface of the product’s material.

EMBROIDERY QUICK TIPS

• All lettering will be digitized with closest point connections.
• Spacing between bottom of all logos and visor of cap (all styles) is a minimum of 3/4".
• Any logos to be embroidered on the back will follow the curvature of cap selected.
• 3mm left-right tolerance is our standard.
• Stitch counts over 10,000 stitches will incur an additional cost.
• In some cases, extra stitches, or knockdown stitches, may need to be added to the design to hold down the fabric and help highlight the logo. This could cause the total number of stitches to exceed the 10,000 allowed stitches and incur additional costs.

EMBROIDERY STANDARD IMPRINT METHOD

• Item Price includes embroidery in one location up to 12 colors and 10,000 stitches. Set-up Charge applies on all new orders.
• Additional location run charge applies on select items that allow multiple locations to be embroidered. See product page for details.
